At the end of 2007, the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) released findings from the Thematic Review of Childhood Education and Care Policy project launched by the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD).  This policy brief highlights the collaborative work of twenty different countries and identifies the essential elements to successful early care and educational policy from countries around the globe.  You can read the entire brief at the following address
